Today, Oculus announced the newest iteration of the Rift: the Rift S. Not the ground breaking CV2 players had hoped for, but an new iteration that seems to nice changes, and some not so nice ones.
The Rift S will include a higher resolution display, camera based tracking, and built-in audio. The potential trade-offs are the now 80Hz display, that is also a single LCD screen.
